• Ashtrays Edgar BRANDT 1930

    A pair of square ashtrays in hammered wrought iron with a scalloped wave pattern – featuring a stylised wing in gilded bronze.
    This ashtray was designed to commemorate the first non-stop east-to-west flight across the North Atlantic, which took place on 1 and 2 September 1930, when Costes and Maurice Bellonte flew from Paris to New York aboard the ‘Point d’Interrogation’.
